As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are holding a number of Quality Symposiums discussing current issues in pathology and showcasing the future of diagnostic laboratory testing.

We offer a comprehensive range of external quality assurance (EQA) for all disciplines of pathology including Molecular Genetics, Biosecurity and Point-of-Care. Our programs are offered in Australia and internationally in over 60 countries. RCPAQAP is committed to provide an efficient and customer-focused service to participants.

RCPAQAP has a global reach. From modest beginnings with a focus on the Australian market, we’ve expanded into an international organisation, with nearly half of all our clients from countries outside our own. We have international agents throughout the world and participants in over 60 countries.

At RCPAQAP, our overall accreditation is ISO 9001:2015-Quality Management Systems. Each of our programs is individually accredited by NATA and complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043:2010– Conformity assessment-general requirements for proficiency testing.

Based in Sydney’s St Leonards, is a new purpose-built office and laboratory. The creation of the centre has allowed us to centralise our services, bringing together our programs and operations in one place.

Not-for-profit

RCPAQAP is an Australian not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and a wholly owned subsidiary of The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. The RCPAQAP operates as an independent self-sustaining organisation and is expected to demonstrate a high level of customer service. Any funds that are surplus to business needs are donated or paid as dividends to the College to further its educational and research aims.

At RCPAQAP, our philosophy is to develop partnerships and support our participants. We’re passionate about continuing and enhancing education for our profession. That’s why a large percentage of our profits go to research, development and the delivery of new programs, and education support for pathologists.
